A bike laid down in a wide mown field, panoramic. Blue sky, a line of low mountains along the horizon, a power pole and its wires at the right. In the foreground the bike's front wheel, a blue dry bag strapped to the rack, a water bottle, and my own boots stretched out in the grass.

A valley in autumn, panoramic. Dry pale grass in the foreground running back to a low tin-roofed barn, hills of dark evergreen behind with patches of orange and yellow turning, deep blue sky and white cumulus. A steel farm gate stands at the right edge.

The Rio Grande gorge at sunset, panoramic. A dark basalt canyon splits flat desert, the river a thin band of light at the bottom. Long low clouds catch orange along the horizon, and the sun flares in from the right edge.

A logged hilltop above a bay at sunrise, panoramic. The sun sits low and white over distant water and islands, second-growth firs and turning brush across the slope, and in the foreground a bench built onto a cut stump with a bike leaning against it.

A town and its marina seen from a rocky bluff, panoramic. Calm blue-green water, a breakwater and rows of moored boats, low wooded hills behind the town, and in the foreground mossy rock, madrone and spring grass.
